I must have been a little kid the last time I saw the Blue Angels. I got to relive some of those airshow memories on a Saturday trip to SF, where Fleet Week brought the Blue Angels to the city.

I finally got around to posting some photos I took while I was in Hyderabad and Singapore. You can check them out here: India | Singapore.

A couple things to note:

1. I love Singapore Airlines. It was just as nice as my Emirates flight, without the 16 plane ride from SFO to DXB. However, the layover for an hour in Seoul/Hong Kong extended the journey to a similar length. If only it was one of those A380s. I really want to try one of those out.

2. Bad movies make the journey even longer….

This is my fifth trip to India and everyone in the office is telling me I should buy a house here. Given the housing market in Silicon Valley, it’s not a bad idea!

For some reason, I did extremely well with the jetlag here. Last November I was completely wrecked when I flew out here for a week – couldn’t sleep, woke up at 3 or 4am, and was just exhausted the whole time. Technically taken in week 51 BUUT I didn’t take many photos this week and I don’t want to have yet another photo backlog when I’m back from Tahoe for New Years. Anyway, this is Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck. On the opposite side they make some delicious garlic and olive oil fried shrimp. It’s decadent and a must have if you’re out on this side of the island. They also let you write on their truck! Kolina wrote “Kolina + Reid 12/23/2010 We’re getting married!” I took a photo of that which I’ll upload…

Last two weeks have been really busy. Work has been hectic and I’m now growing accustomed to 7AM meetings. My sleep schedule still hasn’t adjusted so coming in early is difficult. Throw in a few late night meetings too. And at home, planning a wedding is taking up time. Along with a recent 30K maintenance for my Prius, a trip to the eye doctor, and entertaining visiting coworkers from India.

I’ve missed taking photos recently, so I should get back to doing that whenever I have a chance. Also…
